This handwoven functional art piece will look stunning in your home. It is all handwoven and handmade. The envelope flap is held in place with a snap for ease of opening and piping is sewn along the flap edge. The fabric is reversible, so we created the pillow with the dominant black on one side and the dominant white side on the other. The weaving technique used is ‘Deflected Double Weave’; it creates two layers of fabric in one, with opposite coloring on the back - a nice feature to show the contrast of light and dark with the dark side showing more of the weave structure, or pattern. On the flap is a darling wooden fish button that really gives a tribal feel to the piece.
This pillow cover was made with the highest quality materials we could source, and with precise attention to detail from the weaving to assembly. It will hold up to years of use.
It is made of 100% cotton and is machine washable on the delicate cycle. Washing instructions are included with your order.
